Saitama is uninterested in anything. Even the most powerful adversaries are no match for him, so he doesn’t take his hero work seriously, breezes through everything with little to no effort, and pines for an opponent who would test him. He argues that a lack of quality opponents has caused him to have a self-imposed existential crisis, and that his ability to experience any and all emotions has deteriorated significantly. His bouts are frequently anticlimactic because of his attitude, unstoppable power, and “unimpressive” appearance. Before obliterating his opponents with a single punch, Saitama will normally let them to rant about their motivations and power up into their strongest forms.
